Passion Or Money?

The entrepreneur has once again arisen. Due to high unemployment rates more people seeking financial freedom, more and more individuals want to start their own business. The question then comes up, should you go into business with your passion on your mind or money? Of course you are more inclined to say passion. But, what exactly are the responsibilities, advantages, and disadvantages of each. Let’s find out.

Passion

I can tell you for a fact that for most people, lacking the innate talents and skill, passion will serve them better. You see, when you follow your passion, you don’t necessarily run after the money. You are chasing after something that you personally feel should be changed. You have a responsibility and a purpose. For some people this is more important, for other it’s not. I think that having passion in mind is a great incentive for people who are not natural business people. Although I think everyone can be an entrepreneurs, success will greatly favor those novice entrepreneurs because they have a purpose.

Money

Money is perhaps one of the most motivating factors in business. It doesn’t sound very appropriate, but it is nevertheless true. Chasing after money can still be lucrative give that you know what you are doing. Otherwise, it is synonymous to chasing pavements. You will end up nowhere. You see, if you don’t necessarily have the experience and skills to handle numbers, problems, and other figures, there is nothing that’s compelling you to succeed. I happen to be a very impatient person and as long as I can see cash flow it is motivating. Sadly, this is not the case. Making a business run is far harder and takes much longer for beginners who are in the game just for the money.
